    This Viking sword was different from its predecessors. The Spatha and Dark Age swords were primarily cut and thrust swords. This sword was created with a more sever taper at the point allowing for more effective thrusting, while still excelling at hacking and slashing motions.

Features:

  • Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from polished 440 Stainless Steel with a ridge and short Ricasso. The blade comes slightly sharpened and is perfectly balanced.
  • Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a black imitation leather wrap. The drag and scabbard throat are bronzed steel. A set of suspension rings allows the sword to hung from the wait or the back. The scabbard includes a leather belt.
  • Guard: The guard is the traditional arched Viking style. The guard is built solid.
  • Handle: The handle is steel with a brown leather wrap. The pommel is solid and balances the blade.
