  • This is the Second Generation replica of the Katana of one of five generals that served Hideyoshi Toyotomi. This period was one of the most famous in Japanese history, and created some of the greatest hero's of Samurai history. It was shortly after the death of Toyotomi that the Tokugawa period of Japan was established.

Features:

  • Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand made with High Carbon Steel. The Carbon has been hammered out through the blade so that it has a universal hardness throughout the entire blade. A Bo-Hi has been added to the top of the blade to even out the weight and give audible feedback. A hamon runs down the cutting edge of the of the blade. The blade comes with a thin edge sharp cutting edge and is full tang.
  • Saya: The Saya is constructed from wood with a black high gloss finish. A black cotton Sage-O has been wrapped around the bright copper Kurigata. The Koi-Guchi features a hardened throat.
  • Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The Tsuba is constructed from brass with a wave pattern along the rim of the Tsuba. The Tsuba rests over a copper Seppa that secures the blade in the Tsuka.
  • Tsuka: The Fuchi is a brass construction with three Tomoye in relief. The Tsuka core is wooden with a Ray skin Same. A black cotton Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Two bright copper Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka. The Kashira features another Tomoye.
